Team Lorraine at The Princess Margaret

The incredibly dedicated people of Team Lorraine have done it again. Together, they raised over $20,000 in support of cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital to find a cure for Multiple Myeloma.

Even a bit of rain could not dampen the team spirit celebrating another  year with team founder, Lorraine McCallum.

Lorraine was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2008, a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow, days after giving birth to her third daughter, Katerina. Her spine badly damaged from the cancer, Lorraine was in constant pain, but she did not give up. Barely able to walk, she started Team Lorraine to raise money to find a cure for Multiple Myeloma.

Funds raised by Team Lorraine support the Molly & David Bloom Chair in Multiple Myeloma at Princess Margaret Hospital, the only myeloma chair in Canada. A dedicated research chair ensures that Princess Margaret patients have the latest treatments and shares Princess Margaret research with other doctors worldwide.
